Sarah Peacock serves as VP, Business Development Officer in BankSouth’s Greensboro-Lake Oconee market. She is a graduate of Georgia College and State University with a Bachelor of Science degree and has over 15 years of banking experience.
Sarah is well-known in the Lake Oconee and Greensboro communities. As a seasoned banker and Business Development Officer, she builds strong relationships with local businesses and community members to help them reach their goals. Sarah is actively involved in her community and currently serves as Vice Chairman on the Lake Oconee Academy Board of Governors, a board member on the Greene County Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Young Professional Advisory Board. Sarah is a graduate of Leadership Greene, Leadership Putnam, and the 2021 recipient of the Mickey Channell Citizen of the Year Award.
Sarah and her husband, Justin, have lived in the Greensboro-Lake Oconee area for over 15 years. They have two small children and love raising their family in this community. They are members of Lakeside Church in Greensboro, GA. Sarah loves to travel with her family and friends, spend time outside with her kids, and enjoys running when she has free time.
